For nationally elected leaders it is characteristic greater group dependence in combination with strongly pronounced oratorical and empathy abilities. Such leaders, as a rule, hold the positions at re-election. Elected leaders are far higher than followers on surgency.
Effective leaders are distinguished by greater authoritativeness and independence.
Leaders who can be defined as technical (problem-solving) are characterized by greater intellectuality and analyticity. They cannot be considered as leaders, however bring the significant contribution to the decision of group problems.
When choosing the leader it is necessary to consider also:
- combination of rigidity and unreal orientation, determining propensity to political extremism.
- combination of dominance and conventionalism, defining disposition to nationalism manifestations.
